I'm usually not your ordinary morning bird and all. I find my fridays turning out to be Monday mornings because I have to be in class by 8 for a very odd class! Every friday morning I always get the call of "bragging" with my pals telling me of how the previuos night was OFF THE HOOK, I'm struggling to get my ass to school and they are now snuggling in their warm beds.
I don't mind waking up at 0545hrs GMT+3 every Friday morning. The think that buggs me is, why do I struggle to get my ass to class by 8 n my lecture walks in an hour LATER....Asin seriuosly? I'd have stayed home, had breakfast, sneak in afew hours of sleep...but NOOOOO I get my ass to class to for a basic typing unit....which....yes no comment and my lecture starts class 90 mins later....
My end of the week feels like a monday....or is mother nature playing tricks with my system...

BEST FRIEND NIGHTMARE
“NO! NO! STOP IT…LEAVE
ME ALONE…” With sweat dripping all over her face she realized that her brain
was playing tricks on her yet again. Only this time the tricks were reality.
Collette, a young chocolate
complexion model, about 5’7 with short strawberry blonde hair had a lot going
on for her. Every weekend, she would be strutting various fashion designs on the
runway made by well renowned designers, if not busy running like a headless
chicken sorting out events and weddings. Her weekdays were mellower, balancing
school with her passion for written art. A simple calm and collected laid back
girly girl who many knew she had it all going on for her. From her family to
her friends, you name it…but the most amazing thing was, she had time for
everyone including her man; Lucas.
With all the publicity and
all, Lucas always shied away from been his girl’s #1 supporter. If he wasn’t sitting
on the back seat, he was a no show. Collette always looked forward to seen her fiancé
at her shows but even a call to say he wouldn’t make it would have made her
heart a little settled other than no show; no communication. The only person
who was always there for her was a close friend; Giorgio. He was there for
every make-up mess up to meeting several known delegates who he was able to share
business ideas with and exchange contacts.
With no support from her
man, things ended up going downhill between Collette and Lucas. Things got so
bad that he packed his things, moved out without a notice and called off the
wedding. In all confusion, Collette walked into a house with half of the things
missing and a note explaining what was going on.
“A note…you leave me with
just a note!” she whispered to herself as she placed it on the dining table and
made a phone call.
Twenty minutes later, Collette
was seated next to Giorgio in one of the restaurants explaining what had just
happened.
“He isn’t worth your time,”
he said in-between a sip of beer, “You deserve more than that. Now just focus
on making your name and school and everything else will fall into place.”
“I wish it would be that easy,” whispered Collette to herself. “Yeah,
I’ll get better. Waiter, another wine re-fill please.”
As the night grew older, Giorgio
became more and more out of hand that Collette decided to drop him at his
house, further more it was just a stone throw away from where they were. At the
exit, Will; one of Giorgio’s old mates was outside in his Porsche with a call
girl on the passenger seat. “Willy it’s a good thing I ran into you, can you
please ensure Giorgio gets home safely,” said Collette. “Collette, I think it’s
best if you spent the night at his house. Look how drunk he is,” replied Willy
shaking his head glancing at Giorgio.
“No I can’t. I have an
early morning tomorrow”
“You have to. I can’t leave
him like this and neither can you”
“NO! I need to go home.”
And within the twinkle of
an eye, Collette found herself thrown into the car. She banged her head on the
floor and still didn’t understand what was going on.
“I am not leaving this car.
Please help me,” cried out Collette to the lady in the car who did nothing but
turn away as she watched Collette been dragged out of the car and thrown onto
the floor by Giorgio and Willy. As she tried to scream, Giorgio covered her
mouth and carried her into his house, threw her onto his bed and locked the
door behind him.
“Giorgio, you cannot be
doing this to me”
“Why not? You of all people
know, when I want something I always get it”
By now he was stripped down
to his boxers and was on top of Collette, removing her clothes. She still
attempted to shout, but he muffled her with a pillow. She agreed to corporate
with him and let him do what he wanted with her, furthermore he was stronger
than her and him been onto her petit body structure was a disadvantage to her.
He kissed her neck, moved down to her breast, tummy and knelt down to her
thighs. “It’s now or never” she told
herself. With a powerful kick, she hit Giorgio who went flying onto the floor. She
got up grabbed her clothes turned to the man who she thought was her best
friend lying on the floor and said, “There’s no way your raping me…”
Just when she was reaching
out to open the door, her left foot was grabbed forcing her down to the floor;
he pulled her close to his body. She tried hitting him with everything her
hands could get to but nothing worked. She looked at him straight into his eyes
which were now filled with fury and where blood shot red. “Please don’t! You’re
meant to be my pal,” cried Collette with tears running down her cheeks.
“Whatever Giorgio wants he
get” and true to his wants…..
Collette sat up on her
bed, switched on the lights. It was only 2.30am in the morning. She lied back
down with the memory of what her best friend had once almost done to her still
running through her mind. She turned onto her side, cuddled her pillow and
broke down into tears….
Case of the X pt.1
Today morning, I woke up to the most random and hilarious
phone call…
I do believe that, when a relationship ends, one needs to
understand and let go of what they had. It’s so interesting how pips don’t want
to let go especially when they realize their other has moved on and are ready
to move on. This not only happens to just women but also to men.
But we girls literally loose it…When you break up with someone;
there are defiantly reasons why that were done especially if you were in the r.ship
for a very long time. Months down the line, we still tend to hang on and try
and fight for what was once ours, kind of cute but can be annoying.
Some people know how to let go of stuff while others are
super clingy and obsessed to the point that they will bar any opportunity of
the other person from moving on.
These crazy people have the following characteristics:
1. Mad calling
2. Stalking one’s
residence…if they leave together, refuse to move out
3. Stalking on your every
social network
4. Wanting to be on
the know of what your x is doing….
5. Curse when the
other is happy
6. Threatening to kill
the person or oneself…
These are just some of the few characteristics I’ve heard of
and experienced…I don’t get it why don’t humans just let go and forget…if it
ain working out then…IT AIN
MEANT TO BE! PERIOD…
Some please explain to me this madness…..

Bad Timing
How can something bad be
right?
Some things happen really
fast that we don’t understand what just happened. Things can turn over night
into a scary situation that leaves one confused and wonder how they got there. You
ask around and no one can answer you.
Remembering all the mad
things shared together; jokes, notes, tears, pictures, stories, experiences and
laughs may just turn out to be a story in our historical lives. When stuck in a
grey situation, you’re left with one foot in and the other at the door. Confused
on whether to go or to stay because you know you want to stay but the situation
doesn’t allow.
When you see things are
perfect then they don’t work out…just know that’s BAD TIMING.
You are left with two
choices,
Either
left weighing options if your heart has been put on the shelf…time to walk out
of the door.
Or
you could take a leap of faith and wait for them to come around.
In such situations you do realize
that even though you love someone, you’re scared of getting hurt and tend to
curl up and hide away from them. It’s a normal characteristic but if its really
meant to be, you’d be strong enough to give the other person their time and
space. Because it’s the right place, person and you can give them everything. It’s
just that the TIMING IS WRONG!...
I was so close to you,
Gave you my everything,
Wanted to be #1,
But I think the best thing is to give you your space,
Say goodbye,
The situation is too crazy,
Being in the grey,
Wasn't that healthy,
Because this was just bad timing.
My Pancake...
First time I met you,
you were definitely a no go zone.
RED ALERT…not even a
double gaze was even accomplished.
Years later, I realized
I needed to get the guts to try you when you passed my way,
This time round, it
would be different…HARD TO GET was the game card.
Little did I know that
you would play a tighter game than I would.
EGO
EGO
EGO
Was the one word that
would describe our chemistry.
We would never get the
mixes right,
We would never get the
amounts right either.
Would keep me up all
night n day trying to get it right.
After so many
attempts, I almost got it right.
I knew what not to
add,
Reduce,
Change,
And dismiss.
And suddenly, it all
exploded in my face.
After all those attempts,
sacrifices, and time put into it,
I have to accept,
It was such a bad
timing,
BAD TIMING FOR A
PANCAKE BATTER
Clearly I wasn’t
ready.
